Terms of use

Effective October 24, 2026

These terms are for 2048 Merge by Expert Hire, made by Expert Hire. When you use the app, you agree to them. If you are not an adult where you live, a parent or guardian must agree for you.

Playing the game

You may play 2048 Merge for yourself, not for business. You may not give or sell this right to anyone else. Every level and every mode is free.

Coins, points, stars, ranks and awards are only part of the game. They have no money value. You cannot buy them with money, sell them, or give them to someone else. Themes and hints from the shop are for you only. You cannot sell them or give them to someone else. There are no random rewards that you pay for.

Fair play and online rooms

Do not cheat. Do not use changed apps or bots. Do not use bugs to win. Do not harm other players or our servers.

Choose a kind name. Do not use another person's name. Reactions are a fixed set of emoji. Do not use them to hurt anyone.

The host can remove players from a room. Anyone can report and block a player. If you break these terms, we may remove results, close rooms, or stop your account.

The shop

You do not need to buy anything. Every level and every mode is free for everyone. Nothing in the shop helps you win online. Hints are off in online rooms.

You can buy:

How paying works:

Ads

The free game has ads between levels. Read more in the privacy policy. You choose if you watch an ad for a reward. It is never required.

If things change

We try to keep online rooms, new levels and purchases working. We cannot promise they will always work without a break. We may change or stop features. When these terms change, we will update this page and its date. Solo play still works without internet, with the levels already on your phone.

Limits of our responsibility

We give you the game "as is". As far as the law allows, Expert Hire is not responsible for indirect losses. The most we will pay for any claim is what you paid in the shop in the 12 months before the claim. These terms do not remove any rights you have under consumer law.

Apple devices

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app, its support, or its updates.
